Established Traders in Polymer Raw Materials

VP Polymers was established in 1999 by Mr V. Prakash in Chennai's Ambattur Industrial Estate. Starting as a small trader of PP and HDPE granules, we have grown into one of Tamil Nadu's leading polymer raw material suppliers — stocking over 50 grades of virgin and recycled plastic granules.

We supply to injection moulders, blow moulders, film extruders, pipe manufacturers, cable compounders and packaging converters across South India and beyond. Our reputation is built on grade consistency, reliable supply, and transparent pricing.

Company History

1999

Founded in Chennai

VP Polymers established in Ambattur Industrial Estate, starting with PP and HDPE granule trading for local injection moulders.

2003

Range Expansion

Added PVC compounds, ABS, and LDPE grades to the product range. Customer base grew to 50+ manufacturers across Tamil Nadu.

2007

ISO 9001 Certification

Achieved ISO 9001 quality management certification, formalising our batch testing and documentation processes.

2012

Warehouse Expansion

Expanded to a 20,000 sq.ft. warehouse, enabling larger stock holdings and faster order fulfilment across South India.

2017

Recycled Grades Launch

Introduced rPP, rHDPE and rPET recycled granule lines, meeting growing demand for sustainable raw materials from packaging manufacturers.

2021

Pan-India Network

Expanded delivery operations to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh through a dedicated freight partner network.
